Stuart Shave, English gallerist had in mind to turn former stables in Norfolk of the nineteenth century abd restored in the 90s into his private home. He turned to architect David Khon to take advantage of this open and bright place .
The building is made of simple materials all found locally — profiled metal roofing, painted brick walls, timber cladding. The result is a contextual architecture that feels contemporary and light. Love those high windows ! I am still suprised that for a gallerist, there is no art on the walls... Dont you think ?
