I am fascinated by such simplicity, purity, elegance and perfection. Jacqueline Morabito's style is unique and I fell in love with it the first time I saw her designs.
It is simply: flawless, understated yet welcoming contemporary white interiors and often copied.
Morabito's style is about her philosophy. 'You have to think about harmony, balance and reference to the past when you furnish a room. Everything must relate. The result may seem simple, but that is because there is no tension. As a designer you must learn how to look at things.’
The unifying factor appears to be whiteness, distressed or otherwise, but Morabito applies a more philosophical approach to dressing a room. The house in Provence is furnished with a mixture of antique furniture, contemporary classics and Morabito’s own designs.
